Story:On July 31, 2025, Dean Vetter’s life changed in an instant after a freak bicycling accident while out on a routine ride. His bike tire caught in a railroad track, throwing him over the handlebars, landing directly on top of his head, causing a severe spinal cord injury.
Dean underwent emergency surgery for a spinal fusion from C2–T6 and has been at Craig Hospital in Colorado since mid-August, participating in intensive rehabilitation.
Despite permanent limitations in mobility, Dean meets each day with determination, faith, and grit. “ONE GEAR. GO!” reflects his mindset — focus forward, keep showing up, and don’t quit.
As Dean and Heidi prepare to return home to Fargo at the end of January, proceeds from this t-shirt fundraiser help support ongoing medical care, extended rehabilitation, travel, and necessary home and vehicle modifications.
Thank you for your prayers, generosity, and support for the Vetter family.
